Dramaturgical Inventory I focuses on dramaturgical practice in smaller independent centres across the regions of the Czech Republic. It builds on previous discussions and returns to questions that emerged last year — this time with greater distance and in the context of current practice.
The discussion turns attention to working conditions outside major cultural hubs, to the relationship between dramaturgy, place, and community, and to practices that develop within limited operational frameworks. It opens a space for sharing experiences as well as for articulating issues that often remain marginal in standard institutional debates.

Dramaturgical Inventories
Discussions devoted to dramaturgical practice have long been an integral part of the Malá inventura festival programme. Together with other initiatives, they have contributed to connecting dramaturgs across the scene and to the gradual formation of the Association of Theatre Dramaturgs.
At the current stage, these discussions are shifting from raising the visibility of the profession towards engaging with themes closely aligned with the nature of the Malá inventura festival — margins, transitions, and modes of practice that operate outside institutional centres.
