Playroom for children aged 1.5–5 years with adults: Thinking like an octopus
25. 2. / 10.30 & 13.30 & 15.30 / Korzo Národní galerie Praha – Veletržní palác
no language barrier / 60 min.
An octopus lives at the bottom of the sea. She likes to collect things. Visitors will discover what a vacuum cleaner can do and what can be made from things that no one needs anymore. The playroom, inspired by Magdalena Rutová’s book Jsem, chobotnice (I Am an Octopus), was created in collaboration with the Malá inventura festival.
The playroom was designed by artists Světlana Silich and Yanina Arlova (aka Ghost Compost collective) and lecturers Blanka and Klára.
The playroom is a generous and open format for you and your children, where you can play together, create, and discover art through several activities. Each week, we will focus on a different theme, works of art, or experimental approaches by artists. An integral part of the admission fee is a visit to a thematically related exhibition or part of the collection exhibition at the Trade Fair Palace. The playroom is not intended for groups of children from kindergartens and children’s groups. For groups of children from all types of kindergartens, take advantage of the offer of programs available upon request.
