Endemites: Stories of Disappearance

“What do you expect from the future? First the end of humanity, then the end of capitalism…” A naked man emerges on the shore of a lake and claims to have calculated climate change almost two hundred years ago. A family goes to the mountains to ski and snowshoe, because tradition is tradition, even if there is no snow! A girl runs away into the forest and talks to living stumps. A tramp has a dialogue with a fish, in German, of course, because this species does not occur anywhere else…

Something is disappearing… getting lost… and resurfacing again, because time and space are full of layers and those can exist and speak at the same time. A magical, realistic record of today. An archaeological survey of our time that speaks about it in a way different from how we ourselves would describe it. Science fiction about human endemites on planet Earth and entities that have survived us. There have been so many genres! And so many worries, so beautifully absurd! And also one radical act, after which nothing had been the same again.
