16.00 - Czech (ENG subtit), 18.30 - for the deaf / 45 min.

An Essay on Light is an experimental puppet production based on an interest in theatre technology and the belief that it is important to share our thoughts on creation and art form to bring the possibilities of contemporary theatre closer. Through a mosaic of audiovisual essays, we enter worlds where light plays an important role, whether it is the mastery of fire by proto-humans or the transmission of the internet through fiber optic cables.

Warning for photosensitive people: colour or rapidly flashing lights are used during the performance. Sensitive people may experience seizures.

After the performance (which starts at 16.00) there will be a mini-discussion with the creators. Moderated by Karolina Plicková.
