Synesthetic Flesh represents the performative culmination of Orszulik’s doctoral research, which examines rave culture as a liminal ritual of the contemporary moment. In this work, the author, in collaboration with an international team of artists, merges dance with anthropological and philosophical concepts, reflecting on key aspects of the rave scene, including ecstatic dance, individual-collective corporeality, and sensory saturation.

The rave embodies the essence of collective sensuality—a consuming and hyper-real journey in which participants, through repetitive movement and the interplay of sound and light, are carried into alternative worlds. The dance floor becomes a secular ritual space that liberates freedom.

This performance contains loud music, intense strobe lighting, nudity, and moments of close interaction with the audience.
